Best Fish & Chips – Even Better Than London! This was honestly the best fish & chips I’ve ever had – even better than what I’ve tried in London. The batter was thin and crispy, almost like a delicate bread crust. One bite and it cracked open to reveal juicy, tender fish inside. It wasn’t heavy at all – I actually wanted more. I also tried the tiramisu – the ladyfingers were still crispy, which added a really nice texture. So good! Service was friendly and attentive, and the best part? It’s right on the beautiful lower Cheung Sha Beach. Amazing food with an ocean view – I was genuinely so happy. Sorry I took the photo after I ate 60 % lol.

If you have kids…this is just all round excellent. Beach front so you can enjoy a glass or two whilst having visual of kids enjoying the beach. Service was top. We had a baby with diary intolerance and this was catered for with no fuss. Food was just what you need. Good selection of beers on draft and bottled. Wine was great. Thank you for a pleasant experience even with an amber rain down pour.

The owners were incredibly welcoming and genuinely friendly. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with a cold beer, and it was the perfect refreshment after a swim at the beach. The ambience is relaxed, with chill music that adds to the laid‑back vibe. I highly recommend dining here.

We recently visited the wonderful new restaurant Bistro Sun N Sand right on Lantau’s Cheung Sha Beach, and it completely exceeded our expectations! The pizza was outstanding—perfectly crisp, full of flavor, and honestly one of the best we’ve had in Hong Kong. The starters and main courses were all delicious and beautifully executed, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. But the real star of the evening was the dessert: the date sticky toffee pudding was an absolute highlight—rich, moist, indulgent, and the perfect way to end the meal. What made the experience truly special was the owners themselves. They were incredibly humble, warm, and accommodating. We were there to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and they helped make it a memorable and joyful evening for everyone. The espresso martini was delicious too! We highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for great food, a relaxed beachside vibe, and genuine hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a fantastic time at Bistro Sun N Sand on Lower Cheung Sha beach! The beachfront location offers incredible sunset views and the soothing sound of waves, making it perfect for a relaxing meal. Food like the signature calamari, pizza and nachos was fresh and delicious with attentive service and reasonable prices. Highly recommend this lantau gem for anyone craving beach vibes and great eats......

The food is really great. The pizza is as crispy as it looks. The restaurant is clean and with good music. Definitely a good place to have food nearby the sea.

Great view of the beach The restaurant has got a good menu of food choices and quality is not bad. Worth spending a chill afternoon by the beachside with a cool drink. Couldn’t have asked for more.
